Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud reveals that there is a difference between those who want to be delivered from their sins, and those who continue to nurture such things. People, who are proud and profane, enjoying their sins to the hilt, are those who will feel the heat of the Lord’s retribution. It says in Romans chapter one, verse thirty-one to thirty-two of such people, “Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” These are those who ride in the proud wagon full of men’s sins. They have no intention of repenting for such sins. What sins do you ask? The bible says that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” in Romans chapter three verse twenty-three. That is why God sent his son. So that all people could repent of their sins and be forgiven by the Lord God.

Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud
Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud reminds us that when people are full of pride and will not repent of their sins, this brings Gods wrath. People have a repetitive tendency to look to the heavens and curse God. It is here people will ignore their sins or just make excuses why they are right and God is wrong. In Malachi chapter four, verse one, it says “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.”
There is a day when the proud, those who do wickedly will face judgment of God. We also know that Jude warned those who indulged in the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is found in Jude chapter one, verse seven. This verse warns all people the following. “Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” The bible plainly states these things so man will know the path of Righteousness or Corruption that leads to eternal fire of Hell.
It is plainly revealed in scripture. It is up to man or woman to obey or not. The Lord will allow you to do as you please. The imperative for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is to warn all people. We are to be Light’s shining in the darkness. For many years we have been warning America and the nations to repent of their sins and come to the Lord. I tell ministers who refuse to tell the truth about such sins that they will face Gods wrath for what they do.
Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud
Furthermore, for those of you that truly want deliverance, God can and will deliver you from your sins if you want. What was true in Jeremiah’s time, is true today. But more so because the Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ finished, completed, and won redemption for all people. This points to the fact that when you search for the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, you will find the Lord and forgiveness.
(12) Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. (13) And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jer 29:12-13 | Seek Me, Find Me
I believe that in today’s Computer and A.I. driven world waiting on the Lord can be confusing, puzzling. We like things done now! The guarantee is that you will find the Lord, when “you search for the Lord with all your heart”. Just as the Proud will become stubble on the day of Wrath, those who have sought God and repented of their sins will find peace with Him. They have Gods guarantee on it. James gives us a glimpse of this when they tell us that God will resist the proud but gives grace to the humble. That is who you are when you repent, simply humble.
(6) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisted the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. (9) Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. (10) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Jas 4:6-10 | Grace
Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud
Repentance is sorrow for your sins, and you also realize through the Spirit of God that only the Blood of the Lamb can redeem you. The Lamb of God is Jesus Christ who was and is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. You are not a sinner because you sinned, you sin because you are a sinner. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son to die for your sins on the cross. You can do nothing about your sins except come to Christ Jesus, believe on Him and the fact he died for your sins. Thus, you come to God with a broken and contrite heart. This means you seek God, confess your sins to him. Your heart is broken over your sins; God knows your heart and whether you’re kidding or not. As you are truly faithful to confess your sins, God is faithful to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
(5) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (6) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: (7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleansed us from all sin. (8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1Jn 1:5-10 |Cleansed from Sin
Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud
Therefore, it is in this attitude of repentance you must find yourself in order to obtain the Lord’s help. Truly seeking God, having a heart that is sick of sin, and knowing you cannot change yourself. The Lord does it for you. As you confess and come to the Lord, he will deliver you. The Good news is today; drug addicts, porn addicts, homosexuals, lesbians, and people with all kinds of sins have been brought into Gods kingdom. They have found new life. Deliverance for them is a three-word sentence; it is the “Lord Jesus Christ”. It is in Him, the “Lord Jesus Christ” that you must believe. As it says in John chapter three, verses sixteen to twenty-one.
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (19) And this is the condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Joh 3:16-21 |Only Begotten Son of God
God so loved the world, that includes you and me, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. If you believe in His son, you are not condemned but if you believe not, you are condemned already. It is in this that salvation and deliverance rests. When God saves and delivers you, he saves you from your sins, and out of them. He doesn’t deliver homosexuals and make them a “child of the king” and leave them in this sinful lifestyle. He delivers you fully. Those in the church, or should I say Pseudo-church, who pervert the Word of God, will tell you things that will send you to hell. Let me tell you the Word of God on the matter of Christians living a Godly lifestyle.
Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; (19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. (21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2Co 5:17-21| The Righteousness of God in Him
It is true, therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Your old life and its ways are described in the bible as being the “old man”. As you have put on the Lord Jesus Christ, you are a “new person in Christ Jesus.” This new person is patterned through the Spirit of God to be after the Lord not after the flesh. The old man and his ways, no matter what they did before, have been driven out by the power of God. Now the enemy may come back to tempt you, but God will not allow you to be tempted above what you can handle. The great thing about our life in Christ is His power in us. By His power we can rebuke thoughts, desires, motives, and challenges from the flesh and the enemy. So, remember in your new life, your old man is crucified dead and buried. You’re not perfect, but your forgiven and living a life pleasing to God. It is a life of faith, trust, confession, and following the Lord Jesus Christ.
In conclusion, I remind you to read the Gospel of John daily, especially if you are a new Christian. Read it for an hour. Along with this, begin reading other New Testament books, and also mix in the Old Testament as it is called.
Wanting Deliverance Resisting the Proud
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
1Jn 5:19-20 (19) And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (20) And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.
Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.
