The Battle is the Lords
by Dana G Smith

Let the words go forth, let my testimony speak thusly,
In the times of distress and persecution, will I seek thee O Lord God.
Awaken, oh my soul, know this…
The Way of Man is Futile, seek it not,
But the Way of the Lord, yea, it brings forth righteousness.
~~~
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
(Psa 37:22-25)
~~~
As rain upon the ground, so is the Way of the Lord.
It refreshes and bringeth forth plenty.
Oh man, will you understand that vanity dieth,
Each age after its own, behold, it is no more.
Yea, know this; The Lord is plenteous in Mercy,
He alone is everlasting, from everlasting to everlasting, he is God
His Way is perfect; all those who seek him are wise.
All those who seek him shall feed on His goodness, yea his mercy.
~~~
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(Joh 14:3-6)
~~~
The Lord delivers the righteous, yea; he delivers the saints.
Those who trust in him, they shall know his defense.
In the days of evil, the Lord is the stay,
In these days, the righteous shall find safety,
During the days of God’s wrath, he shall hide his own, those who trust in him.
In the day of trouble, I will seek thee, O Lord God, Most High.
~~~
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
(Mat 28:18-20)
~~~
In thee and thee alone do I trust my God, my deliverer.
While the wicked encompass me about, I will trust in my defense, who is my God.
I do not look to man, the son of flesh for my strength.
I do not trust in the arm of flesh, the vain ways of man.
But I look to the Lord of Hosts,
~~~
Thus, saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
(Jer 17:5-8)
~~~
He alone is my Salvation…
He alone is my Defense…
He alone is my Stay…
He alone is my God…
Blessed be the Lord, who is my banner, I shall never be moved.
Blessed be the Lord, in whom I trust, I shall never be removed from his sight

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So, when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
(1Co 15:53-58)

Finale “He Alone is God”!
*
Let the wicked forsake his way,
Let the righteous flee to their God,
And as for me, I will trust in the Lord, the Lord God of Hosts,
Yea, it is he who maketh war on my behalf.
This is the Lord, mighty, Strong, and greatly to be feared.
He alone is God, full of Grace, full of Mercy.
Ready to save, yet able to judge and send his judgments upon the earth
This is the Lord, the governor of the nations, yea I say, fear ye the Lord.
For this is the beginning of Wisdom.

Destruction of the “City of God”
Let the Word go Forth is the latest in our Psalms of the Watchman. These come from the archives of Dana G Smith, the Watchman. Many of these were written a very long time ago by Dana G Smith. Some of these were published on our other websites long ago, which have since been taken down. We are republishing a number of them. Let the Word go Forth is a long Psalm consisting of “The Battle is the Lords” psalm and the furnace of the Lord psalm. These are both Prophetic and consist of a biblical message for today. The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it – Psalm 68:11. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region Acts 13:49. The Psalms have the Word of the Lord between the groupings of quatrains. A quatrain is a four-line stanza of poetry that can be used in various types of verse. Here the lines are more than four, but they are rooted in the Word of God and using a Quatrain type verse stanza line up.
