This is as in pursuit, where you are in a race to reach the end prize or mark which is the “High Calling found in Christ Jesus”! Body of Christ which is known as the Church has had it good. In fact, from the standpoint of missions and overseas gospel work; America has had it great. We have millionaire Evangelists, multi-million-dollar ministries, and mega churches that can fill a stadium. We find that in these churches many people do attend and become involved. It is not surprising that over the many decades of this lifestyle and Christian growth, many Christians and their leadership can become complacent. In fact, all Americans have become that way.
All it took for the church to awaken was for America as we know it to come to a place it had never been. It took a two-year plus some months of a lockdown due to a pandemic. But even with this hitting the nation, there has been a philosophical battle in this nation over which direction to take it. Not until Donald Trump got elected has the slogan Make America Great Again gotten so much press. There is not a person in America today that does not have some idea of it. You either hate President Donald Trump or love him. We even got news to bring your side of the fence. Fake news and then the real news; the division is so bad that many simply tune it all out. This division and hatred took over Hollywood as well. With some not criticizing the President but taking his side.
For many, though, this division is gut wrenching and is the one thing they try to avoid even discussing. I remember my father long ago telling me that in public there are two subjects you never discuss. One was politics and the other was religion. That was what his generation learned. They had gotten through a horrendous world war. Now all they wanted was life and peace. But what happens to a generation or more who have not really known such a thing as a world war?
Unfortunately, our many modern generations in this tech savvy world did not get the message of my parents. Today in the middle of this division, modern technology, and political extremism, we find the church. Many of which simply keep quiet and to themselves. But be sure there are radical leftists, and many who are outspoken who don’t want you to forget their rights or idealism they push. They push, push, and continue to hammer the message telling America and the world.
The result of this, we are living in America with generations of people who do not listen at all. They are people who want to tell you something. Twitter is full of people “telling each other and letting them have it” so to speak. This is also tiring. When people are divided into a nation like ours, that nation cannot stand; nor can any people stay united with a common cause if they are so hateful and spew vitriol at each other.
Body of Christ -the message is echoing through this nation
Now in this midst of this, there is a voice. It also tells this entire world something. This voice, though, especially echoes loudly in America. The place that has been a beacon for multitudes to come and live. It is the place of dreams. But when a pandemic called Corona Virus, or the scientific handle Covid-19 arrived it was immediately trouble. It has hit many of the global nations extremely hard. In fact, this pandemic caused a problem economically. One not seen since the great depression. In many nations people are in their homes, and with no income to speak off. As with America whose large population are sitting out the pandemic in their homes except for necessary businesses and services, everyone is in the same boat. Patrick Buchanan summed up the situation distinctly.
By courting a depression — a certain consequence of having a nation of 328 million mandatorily sheltering in place and socially distancing — we are telling the world the price we will pay to help save the lives of the thousands who might otherwise contract the virus and die. The longer the shutdown continues, the broader, deeper and more enduring the losses the country will sustain.

Some states in this nation had various levels of pandemic effects and their governors issued different pandemic statewide rules. Today Americans know how to keep your distance, wear your mask, and avoid anyone who is sick or sounds that way. While the pandemic made the news, we were still overflowing with hatred long enough to push for the good of America. Still, during this increasingly trying to heal the land and the people.

A common enemy at the time of the pandemic was Covid-19. However, a major loss was our freedom and rights. The major enemy to America even today and during the pandemic is division. This should have pointed out how short life can be to people. Especially if you cannot go to church. The routine at that time was like this. You cannot see friends. You must wear a mask. You cannot shop normally, live as you used to do, and never know if that person next to you is infected. It is now a lesson to be learned.
It is true, I believe it to be so that most people don’t consider eternity until the sick bed or even when it becomes a death bed. But the lesson here is, listen to the sound. That sound of the Spirit of God whispering to your spirit. The truth here is that as a person draws nigh to God; he will draw nigh to you. It is also saying that the church is not bricks and stones. It is not man-made titles, organizations, and human efforts as we all have become used to. The church is in us. Christ in us the hope of glory. We, the temple of the living God with the Spirit of Christ gather in His name, and he is in our midst. When at that stage we worship and lift him up, he moves in us and through us. This begins the revival, the newness, and the renewal. For we find that being in Him, is indeed the difference between having a mere religion and an exciting relationship with our God through Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior.
The Church of Jesus is not a building, it’s His people. And the God who offers salvation for each individual is still able to meet with you one-on-one, whether it’s the middle of a parking lot, or in your own living room.
No doubt today, people around the world are facing troubles. It was true at the time of the pandemic’s heaviest weight of burden we found people globally battling the pandemic. We found that other nations where Christian believers lived battled the pandemic and those who would kill them. In North Korea and China where the pandemics hit, it was and still is the governments of these nations that persecuted the people of faith. This includes Christians. In Pakistan we have found for many years persecution of Christians means death, imprisonment, or beatings at the hands of Muslims who dislike the Christian gospel.
It was the same in India where Christians were holed up in homes, with no job, no paycheck, and no food. Some overseas native ministries had connections to major Christian ministries in America and elsewhere. They were able to hand out food and other necessities to help these believers survive. Survival in America can be tough for westerners who really have not one iota of a clue as to what real persecution is. While you are whining about the conditions in America today, think again of your brothers and sisters around the world. We have been reporting on persecution of Christians overseas for many years. For instance, in Nigeria the Fulani herdsmen continue to kill Christians. These believers had to face the pandemic and the attacks by the Fulani. But in Nigeria there are also the Boko Haram and another sector of ISIS in the country as well.
“It is sad and disturbing that while all nations, Nigeria inclusive, are battling to overcome the plague of coronavirus, killer herdsmen are still in the habit of attacking helpless communities of Plateau North Senatorial District,” Gyang, deputy chairman of the Senate Committee on Defense, said in a statement. “At a time when the entire human race is sober and seeking God in prayers against COVID-19, killer herdsmen are showing no sense of fear of God nor value for human life.”
Personally, the WIBR/WARN Radio ministry operates from a tiny space in our home. Working here and at all hours and days, time seems to fly. When the word came down from our Governor who said you need to stay at home and only go out to store to get essentials, I was not worried at the time. I told Tower that it was what happens anyway. Spending too much time here, on the internet, working on our websites, authoring articles, and doing our Radio shows can be grueling. In addition, I said, authoring the books which I do also keeps me alone except for my dog and Tower when she is here. But having said that, that pandemic made it hard on us in a lot of ways.
Of course, We always plant the garden every season. We do this every year. It keeps us busy and healthy. Several years ago, I authored an article called Gardening in the Apocalypse. Which was a way to say, that in the Apocalypse which was coming; I planned to plant a Garden and busy myself in the spare time I had being outdoors doing that. My plan for this pandemic was the same. No matter what pandemic there is or what it does. By God’s grace, no matter the evil which comes, he will keep us from the Evil.
The thing is, some people, like those in Michigan, tweeted recently they could not buy seeds due to the restrictions. I am glad that we save seeds and have done that for many years. I have seeds, good organic, seeds plus heirloom seeds that will grow. I do buy seeds from time to time; but I don’t need the permission of a governor or president here. Neither do I need their permission to serve the Lord, believe in him, pray, or even help someone out. While nations around the world limit freedoms of Christians, we now have seen some governors going out of their way to make war against the churches to stop them from having church. They do this to protect people. No matter how sincere, it is just a stone’s throw away from losing your freedom. It is surprising how easy Americans today actually allowed the governors to restrict their freedoms. So, no matter how you might hear Americans say we could never be like other nations with no freedoms as we have today; make no mistake it could happen here.
Furthermore, the essence of Christianity is not being a Christian when you have a fat bank account, a nice car, a beautiful house, a retirement fund, and all the extra bonus’ of a rich society. While it is important that as Christians we are working for the Lord, it is still different from this. It is being a believer in Jesus Christ when your facing death, losing everything, and have not one place to lay your head. Today worldwide the persecution of Christians and the murdering of Christians are the worst in recent memory. In addition, increased government mishandling means they either don’t stop the violence against Christians or are the purveyors of persecution towards the believers themselves. We see these things in Nigeria, Kenya, North Korea, China, Burkina Faso, Congo, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt, and other nations. The pandemic made it worse for all people, but in comparison; America has finally gotten to the point that a voice is calling them to rethink their values, morals, and lives.
That voice is shaking the nations and it belongs to the Lord God. Amidst the shaking of nations, let me remind you what the Apostle Paul said. I call it tunnel vision. Personally, no matter what comes; I open the door to tomorrow with faith believing that no matter what comes, the Lord will make a way for me and my family. Even more so today with this pandemic, I don’t dwell on those who divide the nation. I don’t dwell on anything other than to focus myself and my prayers. In addition, as Paul said: “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” I do not worry about tomorrow; they have their own troubles and solutions. I live daily and focus.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

I encourage you to look to the Lord. Feed yourself in the Word by reading scripture, by meditating on scripture, and by inspirational songs that are scripture laden. Don’t worry about the what ifs. The media constantly uses this to trap those they interview. It is a journalist trick. I don’t go into the what ifs. What if millions die? What if there is a global meltdown? What if there is a great depression worse than any other? What if, what if, what if! I don’t go there; the Lord is my source and live or die; I am the Lords. An exceptionally long time ago I was not like that. But the Lord has brought me to this point, and it is here where I will walk. I will stay, saith the Lord; “I will never leave you or forsake you!”
Finally, we as believers are the light. We are to give Hope, help, and share our testimony. In addition, we are to let people know of the Gospel of our salvation. Be that light in the pandemic. Be that light when any pandemic or trouble arrives. But know this, God is shaking the nations. He will shake them; he will send tribulation upon the nations of men. He will hold people accountable for what they do. He will also give mercy to those who repent and come to him. The choices are yours, be free in Christ, be in faith in Christ, and bring the Light of Christ to others. Do not fear but faith it!
And one more thing, all those believers in other nations I wrote previously about; it is not just about their troubles. But know this, we have reported on the news coming from the mission’s battlefield. Yes, believers do die, do get put in prison. But many are coming to Christ Jesus, this includes Hindus, Muslims, and others. Many miracles are also seen in the battlefield of faith where light versus darkness. The Lord is showing himself strong on behalf of his people. He can do the same for you, for your family, and at this moment.

You either hate President Donald Trump or love him. We even got news to bring your side of the fence. Fake news and then the real news; the division is so bad that many simply tune it all out. This division and hatred took over Hollywood as well. With some not criticizing the President but taking his side.
For many, though, this division is gut wrenching and is the one thing they try to avoid even discussing. I remember my father long ago telling me that in public there are two subjects you never discuss. One was politics and the other was religion. That was what his generation learned. They had gotten through a horrendous world war. Now all they wanted was life and peace. But what happens to a generation or more who have not really known such a thing as a world war?
Unfortunately, our many modern generations in this tech savvy world did not get the message of my parents. Today in the middle of this division, modern technology, and political extremism, we find the church. Many of which simply keep quiet and to themselves. But be sure there are radical leftists, and many who are outspoken who don’t want you to forget their rights or idealism they push. They push, push, and continue to hammer the message telling America and the world.
The result of this, we are living in America with generations of people who do not listen at all. They are people who want to tell you something. Twitter is full of people “telling each other and letting them have it” so to speak. This is also tiring. When people are divided into a nation like ours, that nation cannot stand; nor can any people stay united with a common cause if they are so hateful and spew vitriol at each other.
Body of Christ -the message is echoing through this nation
Now in this midst of this, there is a voice. It also tells this entire world something. This voice, though, especially echoes loudly in America. The place that has been a beacon for multitudes to come and live. It is the place of dreams. But when a pandemic called Corona Virus, or the scientific handle Covid-19 arrived it was immediately trouble. It has hit many of the global nations extremely hard. In fact, this pandemic caused a problem economically. One not seen since the great depression. In many nations people are in their homes, and with no income to speak off. As with America whose large population are sitting out the pandemic in their homes except for necessary businesses and services, everyone is in the same boat. Patrick Buchanan summed up the situation distinctly.
Some states in this nation had various levels of pandemic effects and their governors issued different pandemic statewide rules. Today Americans know how to keep your distance, wear your mask, and avoid anyone who is sick or sounds that way. While the pandemic made the news, we were still overflowing with hatred long enough to push for the good of America. Still, during this increasingly trying to heal the land and the people.

A common enemy at the time of the pandemic was Covid-19. However, a major loss was our freedom and rights. The major enemy to America even today and during the pandemic is division. This should have pointed out how short life can be to people. Especially if you cannot go to church. The routine at that time was like this. You cannot see friends. You must wear a mask. You cannot shop normally, live as you used to do, and never know if that person next to you is infected. It is now a lesson to be learned.
It is true, I believe it to be so that most people don’t consider eternity until the sick bed or even when it becomes a death bed. But the lesson here is, listen to the sound. That sound of the Spirit of God whispering to your spirit. The truth here is that as a person draws nigh to God; he will draw nigh to you. It is also saying that the church is not bricks and stones. It is not man-made titles, organizations, and human efforts as we all have become used to. The church is in us. Christ in us the hope of glory. We, the temple of the living God with the Spirit of Christ gather in His name, and he is in our midst. When at that stage we worship and lift him up, he moves in us and through us. This begins the revival, the newness, and the renewal. For we find that being in Him, is indeed the difference between having a mere religion and an exciting relationship with our God through Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior.
No doubt today, people around the world are facing troubles. It was true at the time of the pandemic’s heaviest weight of burden we found people globally battling the pandemic. We found that other nations where Christian believers lived battled the pandemic and those who would kill them. In North Korea and China where the pandemics hit, it was and still is the governments of these nations that persecuted the people of faith. This includes Christians. In Pakistan we have found for many years persecution of Christians means death, imprisonment, or beatings at the hands of Muslims who dislike the Christian gospel.
It was the same in India where Christians were holed up in homes, with no job, no paycheck, and no food. Some overseas native ministries had connections to major Christian ministries in America and elsewhere. They were able to hand out food and other necessities to help these believers survive. Survival in America can be tough for westerners who really have not one iota of a clue as to what real persecution is. While you are whining about the conditions in America today, think again of your brothers and sisters around the world. We have been reporting on persecution of Christians overseas for many years. For instance, in Nigeria the Fulani herdsmen continue to kill Christians. These believers had to face the pandemic and the attacks by the Fulani. But in Nigeria there are also the Boko Haram and another sector of ISIS in the country as well.
Personally, the WIBR/WARN Radio ministry operates from a tiny space in our home. Working here and at all hours and days, time seems to fly. When the word came down from our Governor who said you need to stay at home and only go out to store to get essentials, I was not worried at the time. I told Tower that it was what happens anyway. Spending too much time here, on the internet, working on our websites, authoring articles, and doing our Radio shows can be grueling. In addition, I said, authoring the books which I do also keeps me alone except for my dog and Tower when she is here. But having said that, that pandemic made it hard on us in a lot of ways.
Of course, We always plant the garden every season. We do this every year. It keeps us busy and healthy. Several years ago, I authored an article called Gardening in the Apocalypse. Which was a way to say, that in the Apocalypse which was coming; I planned to plant a Garden and busy myself in the spare time I had being outdoors doing that. My plan for this pandemic was the same. No matter what pandemic there is or what it does. By God’s grace, no matter the evil which comes, he will keep us from the Evil.
The thing is, some people, like those in Michigan, tweeted recently they could not buy seeds due to the restrictions. I am glad that we save seeds and have done that for many years. I have seeds, good organic, seeds plus heirloom seeds that will grow. I do buy seeds from time to time; but I don’t need the permission of a governor or president here. Neither do I need their permission to serve the Lord, believe in him, pray, or even help someone out. While nations around the world limit freedoms of Christians, we now have seen some governors going out of their way to make war against the churches to stop them from having church. They do this to protect people. No matter how sincere, it is just a stone’s throw away from losing your freedom. It is surprising how easy Americans today actually allowed the governors to restrict their freedoms. So, no matter how you might hear Americans say we could never be like other nations with no freedoms as we have today; make no mistake it could happen here.
Furthermore, the essence of Christianity is not being a Christian when you have a fat bank account, a nice car, a beautiful house, a retirement fund, and all the extra bonus’ of a rich society. While it is important that as Christians we are working for the Lord, it is still different from this. It is being a believer in Jesus Christ when your facing death, losing everything, and have not one place to lay your head. Today worldwide the persecution of Christians and the murdering of Christians are the worst in recent memory. In addition, increased government mishandling means they either don’t stop the violence against Christians or are the purveyors of persecution towards the believers themselves. We see these things in Nigeria, Kenya, North Korea, China, Burkina Faso, Congo, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt, and other nations. The pandemic made it worse for all people, but in comparison; America has finally gotten to the point that a voice is calling them to rethink their values, morals, and lives.
That voice is shaking the nations and it belongs to the Lord God. Amidst the shaking of nations, let me remind you what the Apostle Paul said. I call it tunnel vision. Personally, no matter what comes; I open the door to tomorrow with faith believing that no matter what comes, the Lord will make a way for me and my family. Even more so today with this pandemic, I don’t dwell on those who divide the nation. I don’t dwell on anything other than to focus myself and my prayers. In addition, as Paul said: “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” I do not worry about tomorrow; they have their own troubles and solutions. I live daily and focus.
I encourage you to look to the Lord. Feed yourself in the Word by reading scripture, by meditating on scripture, and by inspirational songs that are scripture laden. Don’t worry about the what ifs. The media constantly uses this to trap those they interview. It is a journalist trick. I don’t go into the what ifs. What if millions die? What if there is a global meltdown? What if there is a great depression worse than any other? What if, what if, what if! I don’t go there; the Lord is my source and live or die; I am the Lords. An exceptionally long time ago I was not like that. But the Lord has brought me to this point, and it is here where I will walk. I will stay, saith the Lord; “I will never leave you or forsake you!”
Finally, we as believers are the light. We are to give Hope, help, and share our testimony. In addition, we are to let people know of the Gospel of our salvation. Be that light in the pandemic. Be that light when any pandemic or trouble arrives. But know this, God is shaking the nations. He will shake them; he will send tribulation upon the nations of men. He will hold people accountable for what they do. He will also give mercy to those who repent and come to him. The choices are yours, be free in Christ, be in faith in Christ, and bring the Light of Christ to others. Do not fear but faith it!
And one more thing, all those believers in other nations I wrote previously about; it is not just about their troubles. But know this, we have reported on the news coming from the mission’s battlefield. Yes, believers do die, do get put in prison. But many are coming to Christ Jesus, this includes Hindus, Muslims, and others. Many miracles are also seen in the battlefield of faith where light versus darkness. The Lord is showing himself strong on behalf of his people. He can do the same for you, for your family, and at this moment.
