Can the Donald Change things! Read this on the WIBR/WARN Site: It’s a Cinch, Trump has Republican Nomination’. Yes, he has cinched the nomination; that is a number of organizations follow the process have declared he has enough votes to win the nomination.
CNN Reported “While Trump has had the nomination locked down for weeks, he has now reached the threshold of 1,237 delegates with the help of previously uncommitted delegates who now support his candidacy. ”
BBC quoted the A/P saying “The US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has reached the number of delegates needed to secure the party’s presidential nomination, Associated Press reports.”
FoxNews says this [also quoting A/P] “Donald Trump has reached the number of delegates needed to clinch the GOP presidential nomination, securing his status as the presumptive Republican nominee and avoiding a contested convention, according to a delegate count released Thursday by the Associated Press.”
The battle has been contentious, sometimes fierce. Demonstrators who beat up his supporters, interrupted his meetings, threw rocks, and became unruly tried time and again to stop him and those listening to his message. They failed, even in California where they have a huge Hispanic population. Even his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel live did not slow him down.
The problem is, someone in the Republican electoral process is sick and tired of the way the elected Republicans have done things. There is no doubt that Trumps push for the White House has been a very hot topic. It is the stuff editor’s dream of. You can never print enough of Donald Trump. Whatever he may be, he is good for a story or two every day that he is running. Whether you hate him or love him, he is the Donald and on top even when people say or write or demonstrate against him. There is no doubt the ‘devilish hatred in America for this man’ at times have been astonishing. A lot of this has come from illegals, Hispanics, and Blacks who oppose him.
Whether he can really get through the Republican National convention and get support enough to win is another story. By their own rules, he won the nomination. I laugh here, ‘Chuckle, Chuckle’; humor! In spite of the big, powerful, Republican elitists who opposed him, he won; again ‘Chuckle, a hardy Laugh, and more humor’. You guys in the Republican hierarchy deserve it after you treated others like Ron Paul and his delegates the way you did.
If he [the Donald] makes it through the process of the Republican convention we ask this question! Will he win the White House? I believe the odds are against that. I believe his opponent will be Hillary Clinton what a choice! But stranger things have happened, they elected the ‘First Black [and white] President to the White house, they can also elect a Billionaire White Businessman to the job as well. We will see what happens. Until then expect a very wild ride! But it will make for great reading and publishers and writers will continue to write on Trump, for he is a good read.
But can this business man change America? This question is one that many who see Donald as a businessman who is successful. That means they want him to change the financials in America. Where we have a manufacturing base back in America again. Where jobs are back. That policies in the EPA and other government arena are pro-business and not political! Policies that will not erase jobs or attack the sovereignty of a state. Make America pro-business and making it clear that corporations would find favorable treatment so they would not go overseas.
Moreover, Donald is not a politician. He is not someone who will fundamentally care about whether the morality of America is where the conservatives or that I personally would like to see this nation go. The moral America is gone, for good. Trump is someone who might be able to save the financial and manufacturing base of this country. To change the way nations have dealt with this country where in the past we always wound up on the losing side of the deal. But all this if a very big “IF”.
I think the potential for Donald Trump to change America as I described is very unlikely. In fact, many forces work against the President if he wants to change the country. The only one to really succeed in the past was Ronald Reagan.
Many Americans want back the old America. But Trump will not change many things that you may want. He will focus on the financial and international business dealings America is in to.
In the final analysis, the chance of him winning is again slim; but many thought he would never get this far.
But as Proverbs points out “Righteousness exalts a nation”! We are definitely not Righteous.
Pro 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
So, as Proverbs says “sin is a reproach to any people”, so too the sin in America is a reproach [reproof or a wicked thing] to this nation. We care less about our sins or the things we do! So as righteousness of a nation gathers God’s favor, so a nation’s sin favors God’s wrath! You pick what side of the Lord God you want to be on!
Take a good hard look at this next scripture and think on it. God in the beginning chose to “build and plant” America. But if that nation or any nation who has “built and planted” then turn to do “evil in his sight and obey not his voice”, then the Lord would repent of the good which he had said he would do. Now we are not a theocracy, but we have had his Word, which reflects his voice. But the fact is the Lord God has judged more gentile nations than that of Jewish nations. He judged “Judah and Israel”, the two separate nations that occurred after Solomon’s reign. But he judge Babylon, Nineveh, the nations that inhabited the promise land, and he judged Sodom and Gomorrah; and finally judged the earth in Noah’s time. He is the governor of the nations and America will answer to him, as will other nations.
It is not that I want to get preachy here, but I am a Preacher and a Watchman. All these things have an overall effect on whether America can be turned around or not. The final answer is this, NO; Trump will not turn America around nor will Hillery or any other candidate. The Judgment is set, but Trump may be able to turn enough around to make it liveable for awhile.
(7) At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
(8) If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
(9) And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
(10) If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
Can The Donald actually make America great again?
